General Information

Woodridge is a small community of
custom homes located in El Dorado Hills California off of Bass
Lake Road. The homes in this area are around 10-15 years old and vary in size between 2,500 and 4,000 square feet with the majority of the homes being around 3,300 square feet. The current selling prices of homes in the area range from $350,000 up to $525,000 with price per square foot falling between $130 and $180. Map of houses currently for sale.

The rolling hills and natural beauty of the surrounding area add to the relaxed and peaceful environment of the neighborhood. Woodridge is convineitly located 5 minutes from Highway 50 and from the historic Green Valley road but neighborhood itself is very low traffic which makes it a great (and safe) place for children to play and provides yet another level of relaxation as you will never be bothered by traffic and noise associated with it. Woodridge is located close to great schools in both the Rescue Union School District and the El Dorado Union High School District.

Green Valley Elementary School:

Green Valley Elementary has been proudly educating students

in Rescue California since 1978.

The school

is located on the corner of Bass Lake and Green Valley Road making it a quick five minute drive from Woodridge. Green Valley scored a 879 (out of 900) on 2008's API test and has consistently been in the 860-880 range for the last couple of years. Pleasant Grove Middle School:

Pleasant Grove is the newest school in the district (opened in 2003) and one of the only two middle schools in the area. The all new and modern facilities provide the perfect environment to prepare your child for high school and beyond. It is conveniently located less than one mile from Green Valley Elementary school if you head west down Green Valley Road. Before Pleasant Grove was built students would have to attend Marina Village

Middle school, which was not as conveniently located for those living on Bass Lake Road. Pleasant Groove is rated in the top 10% of middle schools in California with an API score of 854. School accountability report card: http://edcoe.org/districts/documents/09pg.pdf

Ponderosa High School:

Ponderosa High School is a California distinguish school with 6-year WASC Accreditation. It is located in beautiful Shingle Springs 15 minutes east on highway 50. The school bus route also stops at the front entrance of Woodridge providing another convenient method of transportation. Ponderosa's academic decathlon has ranked

number 1 for the past 17 years in El Dorado County and the school is also well known for it's award winning wrestling, agriculture and music programs. Over half of the districts ROP (Regional Occupational Programs) are run out of Ponderosa. The school also features a brand new all-weather track, and fully equipped wood, auto, and electronics shops.
